Windswept Oak Tree

An original unique embroidery made with free machine stitching and layered organza, felted wook rovings and other assorted fabrics.
 

We have the most interesting shaped trees here, they get blown into such unusual shapes.

We are high up here, on the West Pennine Moors, and look west, so get plenty of wind. This was our (late) cat, Oscar's favourite tree, and as you can see, it was quite easy for him to climb! The trouble was to get him out of it! We call it "Oscar's Tree"
