Lapwing at Guide

A Lapwing, also known as a Plover, embroidered onto green organza, with shades of black and white threads, with a touch of iridescent shimmer. 

The Lapwing embroidery is mounted onto a printed reproduction of one of my original embroidered landscapes of the fields at Guide a village, near here, where these are some of the few ground nesting birds. We are privilidged to have seen them quite often.

There is no glitter on this card.

I have made this design to celebrate our beautiful countryside here in the West Pennine Moors. 

There isn't really room for a personal greeting on the front of this design.

Supplied with an envelope.

We will be donating £1.50 from the sale of each card sold, to our local campaign to try to save these fields from being made  into a buisiness park.
