Lapwing

A Lapwing, also known as a Plover, embroidered onto green organza, with shades of black and white threads, with a touch of iridescent shimmer. 

The Lapwing embroidery is mounted onto a printed reproduction of one of my original embroidered landscapes of the fields with buttercups, near here, where these are someof the ground nesting birds. We are privilidged to have seen and hear them quite often.

I have made this design to celebrate our beautiful countryside here in the West Pennine Moors.

Printed onto the lovely Natural coloured Flora board made with recycled fibres and reclaimed cotton fibres. 

Supplied with a Kraft envelope.

We will be donating £1.50 from the sale of each card sold, to our local campaign to try to save these fields from being made  into a buisiness park.
